Take a palette from an image
Use an image to find a direction, then turn that direction into an intentional system.
Choose an image you can use
Select a local PNG, JPEG or WebP. The image tool processes it in this browser session without an upload. Image names and image pixels are not included in palette exports or share links.
Sample a pixel or a dominant family
Click the preview for a single pixel, or use coordinates with the keyboard. Extracted colors are approximate groups from a resized image. Transparent pixels and near-duplicates affect the result.
Select rather than collect
Keep a small set with clear roles: a page background, a text color, a primary action and supporting surfaces. A dominant image color is not automatically a useful button color.
Export a reusable handoff
Send the palette to the theme tool, check your role pairs and export CSS or JSON. If you need a durable copy, download it; the local saved library is tied to this browser profile.
