Spokegrid / Free website tools
A website SEO checker with evidence.
See what a public page actually returns, which findings need attention and what remains unknown. Keep HTML observations, lab measurements and real-user data separate.
How this check works & privacy
Free public-page review. No login or form submissions on the target site. Your report is returned to this tab, not published. Submitted URLs are fetched by Spokegrid; keep private tokens out of URLs. Google measurements run only when requested below.
What you get
Metadata, crawl permission, canonical URLs, headings, image alternatives, structured-data syntax, icon discovery, a search preview and downloadable evidence. Add separate mobile/desktop Lighthouse runs and available real-user metrics.
Evidence comes first.
An indexable page is not necessarily indexed. A fast server response is not a Core Web Vitals pass. Unknown data stays unknown, with a clear next step instead of a made-up score.
Understand the page before choosing the fix.
Search & crawling
Inspect HTTP status, redirects, robots directives, Googlebot and Bingbot permission, canonical declarations and a bounded sitemap sample. These are observable signals, not proof of indexing.
Content & identity
Review titles, descriptions, headings, image alternatives, JSON-LD syntax, social metadata, icons and the application manifest. Use the favicon studio or writer to continue the work.
Performance & handover
Compare direct HTML timing with separate Google Lighthouse measurements and available CrUX field data. Export an evidence report for a developer or specialist.
Useful answers before you start.
Can this tool prove my website is indexed or tell me its Google ranking?
No public HTML inspection can prove that. The report keeps actual indexing and rankings unknown until relevant owner-authorized evidence is available. You can import a scoped Google URL Inspection result and historical Search Console query CSV locally; imported files are labelled user-supplied and are not independently authenticated.
Does an allowed robots rule mean a page is indexed?
No. A robots rule describes crawl permission. Index inclusion also depends on indexing directives, discovery, canonical selection, content and the search engine's decisions. The report separates these observations.
What is the difference between the HTML timing, Lighthouse and real-user data?
HTML timing is one request observed by the checker, including connection setup and redirects. Lighthouse is a controlled lab measurement for a chosen device strategy. Chrome UX Report aggregates eligible real-user samples over a collection period and may cover a URL or an origin. Missing field data is not a performance failure.
Does this scan every page, execute JavaScript or test my forms?
No. It inspects one public page's server HTML and bounded same-origin robots, sitemap and manifest resources, plus public icon and sharing-image previews. It does not log in, execute the site's JavaScript, submit forms, follow every link or certify accessibility or security. A separate requested Lighthouse run renders the page in Google's environment.
Are reports publicly shared or added to search results?
No. The report is returned to the requesting tab and is not published as a public page or placed in a sitemap. Results and imported files clear on reload unless you download them. External Google measurements send the URL to Google only when requested with your confirmation.
Why might measurements be unavailable?
A website can block automated requests, respond too slowly or exceed the size limit. External providers also have quotas, configuration requirements and sample thresholds. Those states are shown explicitly, without replacing them with invented scores.
