Is this favicon generator free, and are images uploaded?
The studio is free and works without an account. Logo decoding, editing and file generation happen in your browser. The source stays in this open page and is cleared when you reload or leave. Keep the rights required for your artwork.
Which favicon files are included in the ZIP?
The export includes favicon.ico containing 16, 32 and 48 pixel images; 16, 32, 48, 96, 180, 192 and 512 pixel PNGs; a 512 pixel maskable icon; favicon.svg; site.webmanifest; and integration snippets. The 180 pixel PNG is named apple-touch-icon.png.
Does exporting SVG turn my logo into vector artwork?
No. The exported SVG is a container with an embedded PNG. It is not vector tracing. Imported SVG styles and unsupported or external content are removed, so review the preview before downloading.
Why do I still see an old icon after replacing it?
Browsers and social platforms can cache icons independently. Check the referenced file URLs, conflicting framework icon files and the deployed response before clearing caches or using a new asset URL. Changing a local file does not update an already deployed website.
Does the manifest make my website a complete PWA?
No. The manifest describes app presentation and icons. Installation, offline support and other PWA behavior depend on your website implementation and the browser's requirements.
