Are my proposal and images uploaded to Spokegrid?
Local editing stays in this browser. When you choose Save to cloud, the draft and its images are uploaded to private account-owned storage. Publishing creates a separate snapshot without the private brief. You can keep independent JSON backups.
Can I use my own logo and branding for free?
Yes. Add your logo, company and contact details, choose a brand color, change the heading typography and select a document layout. The client document uses your branding.
What happens to image annotations in a PDF?
The document keeps numbered callouts and written explanations with supporting links. The PDF is static; client-selectable pricing remains interactive only in the HTML version. Check the browser print preview before sending.
Can I send a private hosted link or collect a signature?
Yes. Sign in and open Cloud & sharing to save a cloud draft and publish an immutable client version. Links expire, can be revoked, and support an optional passphrase and recipient email. Downloaded copies cannot be recalled. Signatures and payments are not included.
Does choosing an optional item approve the proposal?
Selecting items only changes the displayed estimate. On a hosted link, a client can explicitly send an approval acknowledgement, change request or question and confirm it with an emailed code. The record is tied to that version and its selected items; this is not a digital signature. Downloaded HTML does not record responses.
What if browser storage is full or another tab edits my draft?
The workspace pauses autosave and shows a recovery message. You can download the current draft or save it as a separate copy. A downloaded JSON backup includes the images and contact details needed to restore the draft.
