Freelancers & studios
Keep the website project together.
A website project includes more than a page design. Keep its address, saved notes and service links in one place, with clear boundaries around what is connected and what still needs setup.
- Who it fits
- Independent developers, freelance designers and small website studios.
- What you get
- One project record for the services you own and the next steps you need.
From setup to something useful.
Start with a project record
Save a name, website origin and project notes. External websites can be recorded too; saving the address does not transfer ownership or verify the site.
Choose a starting design
Browse real template previews, review the included features and check the deployment requirements before buying. Customer templates keep their own design identity.
Link the services your account owns
Associate an existing Spokegrid site or form with the project. Use a linked form’s connection package to see its current fields, origin requirements and installation code.
Prepare the handover
Export the project record and recent activity as JSON. Keep credentials outside project notes. Project exports describe saved records; they do not transfer provider accounts or service ownership.
Plan for these details.
- Project links do not install code, share source service access or verify uptime.
- Workspace invitation and client ownership-transfer workflows are not available yet.
- Agree expert project fees and terms directly. Spokegrid does not provide escrow or hold project payments.
- Use separate scoped agent credentials for automation, and revoke them when an engagement ends.
Useful answers before you start.
Can I track a website hosted elsewhere?
Yes. Save its public HTTPS origin in a project. Automatic website inspection, ownership verification and uptime monitoring are not configured by that action.
Does linking a form give a client access?
No. Linking organizes the record. Access to the original form remains tied to its owning account, and no client invitation or ownership transfer takes place.
Can I find help for a website project?
The expert directory lists published profiles reviewed by Spokegrid. You can send a consented brief to a specialist and include a project you can access. Scope, fees and delivery terms are agreed directly.
